Chongyun Lane, a cluster of B&Bs with catering, fitness, retail and entertainment services in SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort, is expected to be opened in late July, adding another landmark to the cultural tourism landscape of SIP.
The project, located near Chongyuan Temple, covers a land area of about 42.5 mu (2.83 hectares), and its total floor area will reach 10,216 square meters. With a total investment of about RMB100 million, it integrates popular sports and pet facilities to give tourists a new experience.
Two B&B brands, including Lost Villa, have joined the cluster, planning to welcome their first guests in the second half of this year.
There will be different kinds of cafes, restaurants and bars, such as Omitofee Café & Noodles, Chengdu Kitchen, and Brahma, which offer delicious food and excellent services. Family Mart, one of the largest convenience store chains in the world, has opened a store in the cluster.
The 1,500-square-meter Turnpro skateboarding park, the largest extreme sports park in Suzhou, is going to open, and the DPMUSE store will offer its guests a unique experience combining sports and art.
The Tailtopia, specially designed for pets, will offer dogs a 1,500-square-meter playground with a fully automatic ceiling system, and a 500-square-meter pool. It will be surrounded by pet products and services stores.
Currently, the public landscaping and the external renovation of most of the projects in the cluster have been finished, and interior decorations are underway. After its opening, Chongyun Lane will host diverse events such as skateboarding and other sports competitions, parent-child learning tours, pets’ activities and trendy fairs.
