The 1st Suzhou Pet Fashion Week kicked off at Omitofee in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in SIP on May 17 amidst colorful balloons and the symphony of barks.

The fashion show then began. Over 300 people and their pets walked on the stage, showcasing clothing and wearable high-tech products with six themes.

A number of pet clothing and accessories brands unveiled new products on site, including pet clothes featuring intelligent temperature control and those made of degradable, eco-friendly fabrics.

Concurrently, a fair was opened, with 50-plus brands providing various products such as daily necessities, care products and food for pets.

A special charity initiative was launched at the same time, with the aim of promoting stray animal adoptions.

The Human-Pet Outdoor Concert, Pets’ Sports Meet and Summer Water-Sprinkling Festival were held, too.
