Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZS) has teamed up with Shanghai Film Infinity to stage a concert featuring music from classic animation works produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio at Dadao Comedy Theatre, Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, SIP on June 1 to celebrate the International Children’s Day.

With a history of 67 years, Shanghai Animation Film Studio has created an amazing “Chinese fairy tale world” with over 500 widely known animated cartoons that have won 400-plus domestic and international awards and enchanted generations of viewers.

The concert will kick off at 14:00 and 19:30 on June 1. With the strong support from renowned composer Jin Fuzai, it will feature ultra clear LED screenings of original animations and an innovative integration of the traditional Chinese music and symphony.

Xiao Chao, a famous Chinese conductor, will lead the performance of SZS, which will weave together the golden age of Chinese animation through fascinating melodies.Blending visual and auditory storytelling, the cross-cultural musical feast will allow the audiences to experience the resonance between Chinese culture and animated art.
