A high-standard tennis center is set to come into operation in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort, SIP next month.

Covering an area of 8,788 square meters, the tennis center boasts 11 tennis courts that meet international standards, including nine hard courts and two clay courts which are designed to meet diverse needs of professional players and tennis enthusiasts.

The hard courts feature the same quality as those for Australian Open. Among them, the center court has seating for 1,000 spectators. The clay courts are identical to those used in the French Open.

The tennis center is equipped with weatherproof canopies to ensure uninterrupted training and matches for players. It also has a fitness center, locker rooms, and showers for professional athletes.

The tennis center aims to set bridges for crossover collaboration through customized tournaments, themed salon sessions, and business events. Starting with the first WTA 125K Suzhou in October, it endeavors to attract top-tier international tournaments.

Furthermore, the center will establish a professional youth tennis training system with an elite coaching team and well-designed training programs. It will collaborate with schools, carry out public-benefit campaigns, and organize selections to discover and cultivate future tennis stars.

The center also offers tourists chances to experience tennis. It is coupled with a Sheraton hotel with half of its 162 guest rooms offering breathtaking views of Yangcheng Lake and the other half facing the tennis center.
