SIP Social Security and Provident Fund Management Center has upgraded its service model by adding the onsite option as a supplement to its online appointment system, forming a dual-channel appointment system to streamline procedures for the convenience of applicants for its services. In 2024, 19,000 appointments were made through this system.
The online appointment system breaks the time and space constraints, allowing users to schedule services with just a few clicks. For those who prefer onsite appointment, self-service kiosks at the center’s service hall offer quick and easy access. Both channels support appointments for the next five workdays. A successful appointment will trigger reminders via SMS. It is worth mentioning that cancellations are required if plans change to avoid future restrictions.
“I’m not tech-savvy, and the self-service machine is very convenient,” an elderly resident said.
