The 2025 “Endless Love ? Shining Glowworms” Charity Walk kicked off at Ligong Causeway in SIP on May 11, attracting about 1,000 people from enterprises, schools and other organizations.

The event, jointly sponsored by Mother Tang Charity Center and Black Tie Boxing Academy, was aimed at helping exceptional children and teens. All the money raised through the event will be used to improve their life quality and skills.

The participants walked 4.2 kilometers, passing by a number of local landmarks such as the Ming Gallery of Art, Iris Art Realm and Jinji Lake Fitness Trail.

Mother Tang Charity Center donated ventilators and expectoration machines to Nanjing Zhi’ai Care Center for Children with Rare Diseases to help children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

A free services fair was held, with 20 booths providing various volunteer services such as medical diagnosis and advice, and tips on fire prevention, drug control and vigilance against fraud.
