The “Peninsula Safety Star Program”, a training program carried out in SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort for the purpose of helping industrial enterprises enhance their building of safety management teams, came to a successful conclusion on May 29.
During three days, safety management personnel from 27 enterprises attended lessons and exchanged experience, achieving an all-around improvement in knowledge and skills of ensuring safety in workplaces.
Experts from related authorities and those dedicated to safety management in various industrial sectors gave lessons to the trainees, covering work safety laws and regulations, identification of safety pitfalls, safety of environmental facilities, basic ESG practices and safety performance evaluation.
The trainees also visited the Wangting Town Work Safety Training Center, where they gained a firsthand understanding of hazards of different accidents in simulated scenarios and practiced the use of firefighting tools.
The program also included an introduction to SIP’s incentives for improvement in safety management, and case studies where several enterprises shared experience in using cutting-edge technologies to enhance safety management.
The trainees demonstrated great enthusiasm for learning throughout the program, and 10 of them eventually received trophies for their excellent performance.
