Recently, the art exhibition at the fourth-floor skybridge of Suzhou Center in SIP has caught the eyes of many people. The viewers were amazed by the extraordinary creativity, unique insights and artistic expression of the creators, namely a group of students at Suzhou Singapore International School (SSIS), an international K-12 school in SIP.
The exhibition is free to the public till June 13. Among the exhibits are diverse forms of art works such as paintings and installations.
The creators are sixth to twelfth graders. The sixth, seventh and eighth graders created works themed “Line Drawing”, which feature strokes shifting between simplicity and complexity and lines conveying emotions and thoughts, and also self-portraits themed “See Me Self Portraits”.
The works by the ninth and tenth graders highlight the themes of “Distortion and Movement” and “Sense of Place”, while those by the eleventh and twelfth graders are themed “Unbound Revelations”.
The exhibition has attracted many people who totally immersed themselves in the artistic atmosphere crafted by these young people.
