SIP Jingcheng School made the country’s third list of culturally advanced schools on May 23. It is one of the 30 Jiangsu-based schools on the list, and the only school in SIP to have received this honor.

The title of “culturally advanced school”, the highest honorary accolade conferred to higher education institutions and primary and middle schools, serves as a key benchmark for evaluating a school’s comprehensive soft power. The selection is held every five years since 2015 to promote cultural development in schools and strengthen moral and quality-oriented education.

SIP Jingcheng School started operation in 2013. So far, it has demonstrated a long list of good practices in supporting all-round development of its students in morality, intellect, sports and aesthetics, and fostering a hard-working spirit. Many of the school’s students have won awards in various competitions, such as technology contests, sports meets and art competitions.

Moreover, the school has built a high-level teaching team with five members included in Suzhou’s education talent program.
