SIP recently unveiled the plan of providing child care services during the upcoming summer vacation that will last from July to August, in an effort to lend parents a hand in taking care of their children during the holiday and give youngsters a leg up in their growth.
Under the plan, more than 200 sites across SIP will provide the child care services to 6- to 14-year-olds from July, especially to those in difficult circumstances and children of migrant workers and people engaged in new forms of employment.
Specifically, 34 sites will provide courses during a period of at least 20 days to primary school students, with daily service exceeding six hours, while 166 sites in communities will organize diverse educational events and interest-oriented classes, and 12 enterprises, public institutions and other organizations will provide child care services for their employees.
