The 2025 “Looking for Book Selectors” campaign, jointly sponsored by SIP Library and Suzhou Eslite Bookstore, is scheduled from June 27 to July 10 as the prelude to the 15th Jiangsu Book Fair that will kick off in early July.

During the campaign, each participant with an SIP Library Card can borrow any five of 10,000 selected books from Suzhou Eslite Bookstore free of charge, and later return them to the bookstore or SIP Library, or a branch or intelligent book locker of the library.

Readers can also borrow a “blind box” to encounter an unexpected good book. Besides, those who have borrowed five books will receive a customized ex libris.

Additionally, a number of new books will be introduced, and famous writers, professors and editors will show up at Suzhou Eslite Bookstore to share with readers their opinions on books and reading.

A book fair for youngsters is scheduled to take place at the same time.
