SIP recently launched a series of events to mark the 2025 National Energy Conservation Week scheduled from June 23 to 29, showcasing its efforts and achievements in pursuing eco-friendly development and determination to advance green transformation.

SIP has made remarkable achievements in promoting industrial upgrading for environmental protection, optimization of energy structure and low-carbon urban development.

In April, SIP’s practical case was included in the country’s first Blue Book on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Standardization (2024) compiled under the leadership of China National Institute of Standardization.

Early this month, a project led by SIP was initiated to establish a national standard for evaluation of ESG practices in economic and technological development zones.

Recently, at the second Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practices Conference, the Suzhou ESG Industry Innovation Center in SIP was declared one of the “Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practices”.

Moreover, about 200 companies in SIP have received honors from the green manufacturing systems at national, provincial and municipal levels.

The events during 2025 National Energy Conservation Week include a succession of publicity campaigns on energy saving and carbon reduction in enterprises and communities, and an exhibition at Jingcheng Neighborhood Center to explain policies on trade-ins of consumer goods and spread methods of living an eco-friendly life.
