Also at the conference on Mar 14, Dr. Li, who is going to graduate from Fudan University in Shanghai in June, received a fund of RMB300,000 for an AI project.
The fund comes from the “Youth Entrepreneurship Fund Group” established by Oriza Holdings and other investors for the purpose of bolstering startup projects launched by young talents. Eligible talents can apply for a fund of RMB300,000 to RMB1 million for a startup project from the capital pool of RMB1 billion, and have the chance to expand the financial support to RMB10 million at most by winning other forms of investment such as an Angel investment.
Moreover, award-winning projects in nationwide startup competitions can receive a financial support of RMB1 million at most for settling down in SIP.
“In addition to financial support, financing services, business coaching and other services will be provided,” said an official from SIP Science and Technology Innovation Committee.
Young talents can apply for the fund through “SIP Qinglehui”, a WeChat mini program serving as the main entrance to SIP’s online talent services.
