In recent years, SIP has made consistent efforts to attract projects featuring large investment, innovative functions and good prospects. A number of industrial clusters have expanded and grown into “new engines” for the industrial park’s high-quality development.

Prominent achievements have been seen in the biomedical and big health sectors. Danaher, Santen, Philips, Nestle and many other medical and health products companies have added investments in SIP, and a number of industry leaders like Olympus, Barco, Integra and Bio-Rad have launched operations in the area.

The integrated circuits cluster in SIP is expanding, too, attracting the projects of TF-AMD, SPIL, Carsem, KL-Tech, and Sumitomo Bakaki among other companies.

Bosch, Airbus, BorgWarner, TE Connectivity and other Fortune 500 enterprises have enhanced efforts to localize their R&D and dive deeper into the new energy and green industries relying on SIP’s resources.

Many companies in the equipment manufacturing sector, such as ZEISS, Hitachi, SEW, Ishikawajma-Harima Heavy Industries Co Ltd (IHI), Daikin and K?rcher, have invested in new factories, R&D centers and innovation centers in SIP.

Additionally, TROX, SW, Kendrion, Interroll, Aptar and SIG Combibloc have established R&D and manufacturing bases or Asia-Pacific headquarters in SIP, and Anta, L'Oreal, Adidas and Panasonic have upgraded their supply chains based on their operations in SIP.

New projects are springing up. Singaporean enterprises Temasek, Keppel, Surbana Jurong and CapitaLand have strengthened cooperation with SIP in a number of projects in life science, green and digital technology, industrial upgrading, urban renewal and other fields.
